Meet Poppy

I began my career at the age of 20 as a cake designer, with 2 kiddo’s and a hubby. I now have 3 grown kiddos with a kiddo of their own. My grandson Carter is a blonde, curly haired boy with the energy we old folk wish we had, and married for 30 years. It was my cake designer era where I cultivated a sharp eye for detail and a passion for creativity.

After ten years in the culinary arts, I transitioned to the sciences, pursuing a degree in Medical Laboratory Science. Over the next 17 years, I built a respected career in laboratory medicine, where precision, discipline, and technical expertise became the hallmarks of my professional work.

Eager to reconnect with my creative roots, I recently returned to the world of design through the art of the decorated sugar cookie.

Drawing on both my artistic background and my scientific precision, I approach cookie design with a unique balance of creativity and passion. My work reflects not only a love for artistry but also a dedication to excellence in every single batch.
