Oklahoma Cottage Food Disclosure

All products are produced in a private home kitchen under Oklahoma's Cottage Food Production Operation guidelines. Products may be prepared where common food allergens including wheat, eggs, dairy, nuts, and soy are processed.

Custom Design & Artistic Interpretation

Each cookie is handcrafted. Reference photos serve as creative inspiration; exact duplicates cannot be guaranteed due to monitor differences and hand-iced execution.

Allergen & Food Safety Warning

Cookies contain standard baking ingredients including wheat flour, real butter, sugar and eggs. The home facility processes peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, wheat and gluten.

Pickup & Shipping

Local pickup is arranged in Glenpool, Oklahoma. Regional shipping is handled through carrier services where permitted.

Refunds & Cancellations

Due to the perishable and customized nature of custom sugar cookies, completed sales are final once baking or design work has commenced. Cancellations requested at least 7 days before scheduled pickup are eligible for store credit.

Sales Tax

Custom decorated cookie prices include applicable sales tax. The price shown is the price paid.

Meet Poppy

Hi, I’m Poppy!

My creative journey actually started when I was just 18 years old, when I began my career as a cake designer. I’ve always had a love for decorating, designing, and turning an idea into something people can enjoy. At 28, my career took me in a completely different direction when I entered the world of science and began working in the laboratory.

After 18 years in laboratory medicine, I still work full-time in the field, but I realized I was missing an important part of myself—my creative side. I missed designing. I missed creating. And most of all, I missed the joy that came from making something special for someone else.

So, in October 2025, I decided to return to my creative roots and turn my love of decorating into something of my own. The Poppy-Anne Cookie Collection was born as a small, home-based cottage business operating under the Oklahoma Freedom Food Act, with a focus on one thing I absolutely love: custom decorated sugar cookies.

For me, these cookies are so much more than just something sweet. I love working with my clients to take their ideas, themes, and special moments and turn them into edible art that is uniquely theirs. There’s something pretty special about seeing a client’s face when they see their finished cookies for the first time. That feeling of accomplishment never gets old!

I take pride in creating each order with my client, paying attention to the little details that make their cookies personal and meaningful. Every design is a little different, and every happy client reminds me why I decided to take this creative leap.

Outside of cookies, I’ve been married for 30 years, have three grown children, and am a very proud grandma to one amazing grandson. I’m definitely a homebody at heart, but I also love spending time with my family, friends, and community.

And if you get me talking about cookies, decorating, or pretty much anything I’m passionate about…well, good luck getting me to stop! I’m friendly, I’m talkative, and I’m definitely a bit of a chatterbox—and I think that’s just part of my charm.
